DAVIDSON, N.C. – Single-game tickets for Davidson men's basketball games will go on sale Wednesday, Oct. 1, beginning at 9 a.m. Fans can get tickets in person at the Davidson ticket office, online at DavidsonWildcats.com or by calling 1-800-768-CATS (2287).
Approximately 350 tickets are available for each game in Belk Arena, and ticket prices begin at $14 for adults and $7 for youth. Tickets for the game against North Carolina State Dec. 6, at Time Warner Cable Arena will also be available beginning tomorrow and can be purchased online at DavidsonWildcats.com. Prices for those tickets range from $15-25.
A limited number of season tickets, which include all scheduled home games in Belk Arena in addition to the contest at Time Warner Cable Arena, are still available and are priced from $150 for adults and $75 for youth.
Ten Southern Conference contests, a tilt against local rival Winthrop and the first BracketBusters game in Belk Arena highlight the 2008-09 home schedule.
In the unbalanced league schedule, the Wildcats face each SoCon team at home except for Appalachian State. Former Big South rival Winthrop will travel to Davidson Nov. 21, in what will be the Eagles' first trip to Belk Arena since a 68-67 victory Jan. 25, 1991.
Davidson opens Southern Conference play against Chattanooga at home Dec. 13, and SoCon newcomer Samford makes its first appearance in Belk Arena since 1993 on Jan. 3. The Wildcats finish the non-conference slate with a BracketBusters game at home Feb. 21 or 22. The opponent, date and time of that game will be set at the end of January.
Davidson returns three starters and 11 lettermen, including four of its top six scorers, from the 2007-08 team that advanced to the Midwest Regional Final and finished the season ranked ninth in the ESPN/USA Today Coaches Poll.
