Davidson Flagship Station to Feed Remaining Games Through MI Connection

DAVIDSON, N.C. -- Davidson's Flagship station WHIP 1350 AM will simulcast the remainder of the 2007-08 men's basketball season on MI Connection Cable Channel 4 as announced last week.
“We are thrilled to partner with Davidson College to bring our customers and their fans live audio coverage of basketball games,” said James “Junior” Miller, MI-Connection general manager.
Each game can be heard live beginning 30 minutes prior to tipoff with broadcast-veteran John Kilgo and former Wildcat
standout Logan Kosmalski calling the action.
“This is the first step to our ultimate goal, which is to provide our customers with original programming of local interest. Our customers can look forward to more partnerships like this one in the near future.”
