Winters Sees Quality Minutes in Golden States Summer League Games

DAVIDSON, N.C. – Brendan Winters, a four-year starter and standout for Davidson's men's basketball team, has played in three of the four Toshiba Vegas Summer League Games with the Golden State Warriors of the National Basketball Association.
A native of Denver, Colo., the 6-5 guard/forward is averaging 13.7 minutes and 1.7 rebounds per contest. In his summer debut with the club, Winters connected on a bucket from long range and free throw to finish with four points against the Portland Trailblazer's unit.
Winters and the Warriors will play their final of five summer league contests in seven days Thursday, July 13 against the Toronto Raptors.
