Paul Taylor begins his third season as the Davidson women's track & field assistant coach, after spending the past four seasons as a volunteer assistant coach for the men's cross country & track teams.
The former middle distance standout hails from Johnson City, Tenn., and graduated from Science Hill High School, where he was TSSAA State Champion in the 800-meters and Honorable Mention All-American his senior year in 1980.
A 1985 graduate of Kansas State, Taylor ran track & cross country for the nationally ranked Wildcats. He was a four-time All-Big Eight performer, and placed third in the 1000-yard run at the 1983 Big Eight Indoor Track Championship.
Taylor earned a B.S. in Communications from Kansas State in 1985.
