Hurdlers Shine on Final Day of A-10 Championships

FAIRFAX, Va. – Freshman Mikayla Wills took gold in the 100m hurdles, while teammate Aleia Gisolfi-McCready finished runner-up in both hurdle events to highlight the final day of competition for the Davidson women's track & field team at the 2025 A-10 Championships.
Wills' school-record performance of 13.59 (13.581) was two-one thousandths better than Gisolfi-McCready, who also took silver in the 400m hurdles Sunday with a personal-best time of 58.99.
In the heptathlon, Riley Dodd also set a new Davidson standard with 4,855 total points to place fourth. Hannah Casey (4,543 points) finished three back of Dodd with a career-best showing of her own.
Senior Anne Berquist capped her senior campaign with a 17:07.07 in the 5000m to add to the Wildcats' team score.
Davidson, which finished eighth in the team standings, also got points from Summer Laskey (Discus / 40.99m) and the 4x800m relay (8:54.33).
In addition, Gabby Demeter recorded a personal-best mark of 1.60m in the high jump.

The NCAA Regional will take place later this month in Jacksonville, Fla., on the campus of North Florida.
