2016: Selected to the 2016 Allstate Good Works Team • Named a Pioneer Football League All-Conference honorable mention • Appeared in nine games with eight starting assignments • Registered 37 tackles, 18 solo and 7.5 for loss, and forced a fumble • Notched seven tackles in the final two games of the season at Campbell (11/5) and against Morehead State (11/19) • Tallied six tackles at Georgetown (9/3) and against Butler (10/14) • Forced a fumble to go along with four tackles in a 38-21 win over Livingstone (9/17).
2015: Played in all 11 games, making six starts • Finished the season with 41 tackles, including 2.0 for a loss, and one breakup • Had three tackles in the season-finale win at Stetson (11/21) • Made five tackles at Jacksonville (11/7) • Had eight tackles and was part of a tackle for a loss against Campbell (10/31) • Made five tackles against Marist (10/24) • Had four tackles with 1.5 for a loss and a breakup at Butler (10/17) • Made four tackles against Valparaiso (10/3) • Had three tackles at Morehead State (9/26) • Made four tackles in the home opener against Catawba (9/12).
2014: Played in three games before sustaining a season-ending injury • Had two tackles against College of Faith (8/30) • Racked up 3 tackles against Catawba, including a tackle for loss • Had 3 tackles against VMI (9/13), also including one for a loss.
2013: Recorded 22 tackles in five appearances on the season for the Wildcats • Made season-high nine tackles and broke up a pass at Dayton (10/5) • Also made 3.5 tackles for loss • Named to PFL Academic Honor Roll.
Prep Years: Was a two-way football player for coach Chris Pope at Westminster Catawba Christian School • Was a two-time all-conference linebacker and also the team’s leading wide receiver • Named all-area at linebacker as a junior and also earned all-conference honors at defensive end as a senior • Set school record for receiving yards as a senior • Two-year team captain • Participated in Shrine Bowl and Down Under Bowl • Also played basketball and golf for a year, and tennis for two years • Went on multiple mission trips in the Caribbean region and went on a cultural study in China • Member of Service Initiative and president as a senior • Beta Club member • Fellowship of Christian Athletes.
