2015: Named to the PFL Academic Honor Roll • Battled an injury all season, playing in six games with two starts • Finished the year with 30 tackles, including 1.0 for a loss, and one interception • Picked up seven tackles in the win against Kentucky Wesleyan (10/10) • Made five tackles against Valparaiso (10/3) • Had six tackles at Morehead State (9/26) • Led the team with matching his career-high 10 tackles and picked up an interception against Catawba (9/12). 

2014: Played in 3 games as a junior, before suffering a season-ending injury • Recorded 19 tackles on the season, including 9 against Catawba (9/6) and 10 against VMI (9/13) • Forced one fumble against Catawba as well.

2013: Started nine of 10 games on the season, tying for second on the team with 66 tackles • Intercepted a team-best two passes on the year and broke up three more • Returned an interception for 33 yards against Drake (10/12) • Recorded season-high 10 tackles against both Lenoir-Rhyne (9/14) and Drake (10/12) • Named to PFL Academic Honor Roll.
 
2012: Made 18 tackles in seven appearances with one start • Had 2.5 tackles for loss and two pass breakups • Made a season-high eight tackles (1.5 for a loss) and had one pass breakup against Butler • Made first career start at Morehead State • Missed final two games due to injury.
 
Prep Years: Team captain for coach Billy Shackelford at Sprayberry High School • All-Region 7-AAAA first team • All-Cobb Country second team • senior all-star game starter • team DB of the year and Jim Frazier Award Recipient • four-year scholar athlete award winner • member of National Honor Society • two-year member of Men of Distinction.
 
Personal: Born December 2, 1993 • The Son of Richard and Lisa Atkins • Has three younger siblings – Corey, Leah and Lacy • Lived in Barbados for three years.
