On Monday, April 13, 2015, Davidson head coach Paul Nichols announced the hiring of Nic Workman to the Wildcat staff. Workman served as Davidson’s defensive analyst in 2015.
Prior to coming to Davidson, Workman spent a year at Newark Catholic High School as the Offensive Coordinator, while coaching the quarterbacks and linebackers.
As an undergraduate at Ohio Dominican University, Workman was the offensive quality control coach and assisted the quarterback during his four years as a Panther.
While at Ohio Dominican, Workman broke down opponent game film focusing on determining tendencies and looking for areas of weakness, performed self-scout analysis and ran the defensive scout team.
For the 2012 season, Workman was the Co-Defensive Coordinator and coached the linebackers at Groveport Madison High School, after interning at Ohio State (2006-08) and Marshall University (2005-06).
Workman graduated from Ohio Dominican in 2014 with a B.S. in sports administration.
