2012: All-PFL Honorable Mention • Phil Steele’s 2012 Preseason All-Pioneer First Team • Started all 11 games • Anchored a line for an offense that ranked 15th in FCS football in passing offense (291.3 yds/gm) and 78th in total offense (350.6 yds/gm).
2011: Started all seven games he played in; missed the other four because of injury • Helped anchor a line for an offense that ranked eighth in FCS football in passing offense (303.3 yds/gm) and 59th in total offense (357.1 yds/gm).
2010: Played in eight games and made two starts for the Wildcats • Anchored the offensive line and helped the Wildcats rush for 80 yards and compile 287 yards of offense a game.
Prep Years: Four-year lettermen for coach Greg Toal at Don Bosco Prep • Team won four consecutive state titles and was the 2009 National Champion • Named first-team all-league, second-team All-Suburban and third-team all-county • Also lettered three seasons in lacrosse • National Honor Society • Attendee at the National Youth Leadership Forum.
Personal: Born Jan. 7, 1992 • The son of Jerry and Debbie Kurtz • Has one younger sibling, Jordyn • Cousin, Jon Buice, ran track at Syracuse.
