Bio
The Lindsey File: A captain and a leader on the defensive end. Drew has a strong desire to win and will do whatever it takes to accomplish that goal. Despite spending the fall semester rehabbing an injury, Drew has continued to fight for her place in the starting line-up.
2009: Closed out final season by playing in a career-best 16 games and starting 12 of them, also a career-high ... one of nine 'Cats to record 10 or more groundballs (19) and finished tied for second on team in caused turnovers with nine ... also picked up five draw controls ... five times registered at least two groundballs in a game ... caused a career-best three turnovers vs. American, Apr. 12.
2008: First year on the lacrosse team ... found the back of the net three times to go along with an assist ... scored two of her goals on free position shots as she was 2-for-3 in those situations ... junior midfielder hauled in 20 groundballs and forced 11 turnovers ... one of only four 'Cats to have double-digits in forced turnovers ... first career goal came against Vermont, Mar. 13 ... had first-ever two-goal game on Mar. 17 in a 20-5 win over Wagner ... had season bests of five groundballs and five caused turnovers vs. Pfeiffer, Apr. 2.
2005-06: Freshman year played on the women's basketball team ... saw action in four games ... In her first career collegiate game at Western Carolina on Feb. 4, the freshman pocketed her first steal.
Prep and personal: Earned Athlete of the Year honors at The Madeira School senior year ... a three-sport star as a prepster, participating in basketball, field hockey and lacrosse ... won all ISL honors in basketball and played in the VA all star game for LAX in 2002 & 2005 ... captain of basketball and lax senior year ... Volunteered At Sibley Hospital, worked on Capital Hill Junior Year for Majority Leader.
