The Betsch File: The best one-on-one defender in the unit. When Erin goes hard and gives 100% she can’t be beat. An aggressive and vocal defender, the more confidence she has the better she will become. Quick lateral, a great first step going forward and nice footwork combined with her physical strength make her an exceptionally good defender.

2008: Freshman defender picked 13 groundballs, caused four turnovers and seven draw controls ... earned two caused turnovers in a win over Wagner ... tallied 10 of her 13 groundballs in final four games, including three straight games with three groundballs each... one of three freshman to start at least two games.
