2009-10: Saw action in one singles and doubles match during junior campaign ... played against Case Western Reserve in singles, falling in a super tiebreaker and at Charlotte in doubles action.

2008-09: Earned first collegiate win with a 6-1, 6-0 victory over Wingate, Feb. 7, at No. 6 position ... competed in two of the three 2008 fall events for Davidson … finished seventh in the ‘B2’ singles bracket at CofC Invitational … one of seven 'Cats to play singles at the 2008 Virginia Tech Invite.

2007-08: Did not see action in any official spring matches … played in one of the four fall events for Davidson … played in a round-robin singles flight at Wake Forest Invitational.

Prep and Personal: Parents were both Davidson graduates … father, Tom Verlin, was part of the 1972-1976 Wildcat men's basketball team … mother, Dea Verlin (Booth) was part of the first women's tennis team at Davidson … also lettered in basketball during prep career.
