DAVIDSON, N.C. – The Davidson women's lacrosse team fell 8-6 to the St. Bonaventure Bonnies on Saturday afternoon at Field 76. Despite the loss, Keira Best tallied two goals for the third straight game. Best has seven goals over the last three games.

Davidson jumped out to a 2-0 advantage towards the end of the first quarter. Mali White and Brooke Ross each scored for the 'Cats.

Early in the second quarter, Keira Best and Adrienne Leone each scored a goal. Davidson led 4-1 with 10:41 left until halftime. The Bonnies bounced back, scored four straight, and led 5-4 at intermission. St. Bonaventure did not surrender the lead the rest of the game.

Tema Wagner led Davidson with three caused turnovers. Kayla Joyce recorded nine saves.

Davidson is back in action on March 14 at Duquesne. Opening draw is scheduled for 12 p.m. from Pittsburgh, Pa.
