‘Cats Conclude Spring Break Trip with Setback at #52 Denver

DENVER, Colo. – Despite singles victories from Ellie Hammond and Keri Rothenberg, Davidson closed its 2026 "Spring Break" trip to Colorado with a 5-2 setback to No. 52 Denver Friday at the Denver Tennis Park.
With the win, the nationally-ranked Pioneers improve to 9-5. The Wildcats fall to 5-5 overall on the campaign.
Hammond, coming off a win at the No. 3 spot yesterday against Air Force, improved to 8-2 in dual matches with her three-set win over Zoe Adkins 4-6, 6-2, 1-0 (10-6) this afternoon.
In addition, Rothenberg continued her impressive freshman campaign as she remained unbeaten (6-0) in 2026 with a 6-3, 6-4 triumph on court 5.

Davidson will begin a four-match homestand Friday, March 20 when it opens Atlantic 10 Conference play against Dayton at 3 p.m.
