
Davidson Set For A-10 Indoor Championships In Virginia Beach

VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. - The Davidson men's track & field team is set for the 2026 A-10 Indoor Championships this Friday and Saturday inside the Virginia Beach Sports Center.
The two-day event will get underway Friday morning at 9 a.m. Live results will be available both days at Atlantic10.com.
The Wildcats have produced several strong results and personal bests throughout the indoor season to this point. Back in December, Masson Heiny set the school record in the weight throw (15.24m). At the Tryon Banked Invite (Mill Spring, N.C.), Connor Rittenhouse led Davidson in the 300m and set a new school record in the event with a time of 35.12. Jackson Steffen posted the third-fastest indoor 200m time in school history (21.89) at the Camel City Sprints on the JDL Fast Track. During that same meet, AJ Kurtz, tied the indoor school record in the 60m with a time of 6.91. John Cooper turned in the second-fastest indoor 5000m time in program history with a time of 14:22.22 at the David Hemery Valentine Invite.
