‘Cats Drop Pair of Matches in Davidson Duals

DAVIDSON, N.C. – The Wildcats suffered a pair of setbacks Friday in the 2026 Davidson Duals inside John M. Belk Arena.
After falling to Bucknell 39-9 in the opening session, Davidson was blanked by North Dakota State, 45-0.
Anderson Heap (149 lbs) and Tanner Peake (157 lbs) recorded the lone wins for Wildcats on the afternoon in their open dual against Bucknell.
Heap edged Riley Bower, 4-2, while Peake won by medical default to follow.
In addition to the host Wildcats, the six-team event also included Brown, Bucknell, Lock Haven, North Dakota State and Presbyterian.

Davidson will resume its conference slate Friday, Jan. 23 with a 7 p.m. dual at Chattanooga.
