Wildcats Drop Conference Dual at Chattanooga

CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. – Davidson's Anderson Heap picked up the Wildcats' lone win in a 43-3 setback at Chattanooga Friday evening from inside Maclellan Gym.
The Mocs improve to 5-4 overall and 2-0 in SoCon action, while Davidson falls to 3-10 and 1-1.
Heap, who entered second on the team in wins, improved to 11-9 on the season with a 3-0 victory over Yuta Otero at 149 pounds.
Despite jumping out to an early 3-0 lead at 184, Davidson freshman Cody Kirk dropped a hard-fought decision to Landon Jones.
Two of Chattanooga's victories came by way of forfeit at 125 and 157 pounds.

Davidson will travel to in-state and conference foe Gardner-Webb Thursday evening for a 6 p.m. dual.
