- Davidson played three straight against FCS scholarship programs to open the 2025 campaign.
- Four of the Wildcats' opponents this season have appeared in the FCS Top-25 or received votes.

- The Wildcats are 6-2 at Davidson College Stadium, which opened in 2024.
- Wide receivers Brody Reina and Ivan Hoyt lead Davidson with two touchdowns each.
- Preseason All-American Mari Adams finished with a season-high 58 yards on 11 carries at Tennessee Tech.
- Adams is just seven rushing yards from moving into fifth in program history.

- Saturday's contest will be just the second all-time between the two schools separated by 70 miles.
- Davidson won the previous meeting 32-7 on September 10, 2005.Â
- Davidson will enter a week five bye, before opening league play Oct. 4 at Stetson.
- Continuing its challenging non-conference stretch to open the 2025 campaign, Davidson fell at No. 15/16 Tennessee Tech, 72-14, Saturday afternoon inside Tucker Stadium.
- Playing its fifth nationally-ranked opponent since 2001, the Wildcats fall to 0-3. The Golden Eagles extended the nation's longest FCS winning streak, while improving to 3-0.
- Led by Kekoa Visperas, who concluded the day 23-of-32 for 246 yards and five touchdowns (3 pass, 2 rush), Tennessee Tech finished with 576 yards of total offense. In addition, Quinn Quintell rushed for 122 yards and two scores on nine carries for the Golden Eagles.Â
- Shortly after Mari Adams scampered for 37 yards down the sideline, Coulter Cleland connected with Ivan Hoyt for the second straight game, this time with an 18-yard touchdown pass to put Davidson on the board.

- Cleland finished the day, 16-of-26 for 132 yards and two touchdown throws.
- The Golden Eagles, who led 28-0 after the first quarter, would answer with a 7-play, 50-yard touchdown drive and 60-yard interception return to put the game out of reach.
