Women Wrap Up 2024 A-10 Indoor Championships

VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. – For the second straight day, Aleia Gisolfi-McCready set a new school-record in the 60-meter hurdles to lead the way for Davidson on the final day of the 2024 Atlantic 10 Indoor Track & Field Championships inside the Virginia Beach Sports Center.
Gisolfi-McCready, who broke the previous mark Friday with an 8.79, was a hundredth of a second better today to finish fourth in the finals.
Making her first appearance in this year's championships, junior Anne Berquist also put points on the board for the Wildcats with sixth-place showing in the mile (5:01.92).
Freshmen Jocelyn Millican and Isabella Godoy also advanced to the finals in their respective events, while adding to the team total. Millican posted a time of 1:17.04 in the 500 meters, while Godoy finished the 1,000 meters in 2:56.00, a day after shattering her personal record.

After a three-week break from competition, Davidson will open its 2024 outdoor season at the 49er Classic in Charlotte March 15-16.
