SCHEDULE HIGHLIGHTS
• Davidson will compete in the Bucknell Invitational Dec. 1-3 in Lewisburg, Pa.
• The A-10 Championships have moved from Ohio this year. The 2024 conference meet will be held at the Hampton Aquaplex in Hampton, Va., Feb. 21-24.
STRONG GROUP RETURNS
Davidson's Dylan Felt returns after a breakthrough freshman campaign that included a sweep of the Atlantic 10 Conference Most Outstanding Performer and Most Outstanding Rookie awards. He won A-10 titles in the 500 free (4:20.02) and 1,650 free (15:09.08, A-10 record) and took silver with the 200 free and 800 free relays.
Already, he owns school records in the 200, 500, 1,000 and 1,650 frees and with the 200 and 400 free relays.
In July, Felt earned 2024 U.S. Olympic Trial cuts in the 200-meter, 800-meter and 1,500-meter freestyle events.
Along with Felt, the Davidson men return many contributors from school-record and/or medal-winning finishes, including Ian Brann and Andrew Schou. Brann set the program's 50 free mark (20.15) in 2021, while Schou set the 100 breast standard (54.42) last season.
Returners Ben McClain (A-10 200 free champion in 2022) and Guil Ware swam with Brann and Felt on school-record 200 free and 400 free relays last year. McClain and Schou swam with fellow returners Miles Charles and Jeremy Kemp on the school-record and bronze-earning 400 medley relay. And Felt, Kemp, McClain and returner Fletcher Smith took A-10 silver in the 800 free relay.
For the Davidson women, Martha Tripsa and Chale Jacks return after earning A-10 bronze with the 400 free relay last year. Tripsa and Leah Sandock return from the school-record 200 medley relay.
Diver Annica Valmassei won the A-10 3-meter title in 2022.
