‘Cats Open 2023 Fall with Home Event at River Run

DAVIDSON, N.C. – Coming off its third straight Atlantic 10 Championship, the Davidson men's golf team will open their 2023-24 campaign with the River Run Collegiate Sept. 11-12.
Monday's opening round will begin at 8:45 a.m. with a shotgun start. The 14-team event will features 36 holes on day one followed by the final round Tuesday, which will start at 9 a.m.
The host Wildcats rallied from 11 shots back in 2022 to claim the team title.
Under the direction of six-time conference Coach of the Year Tim Straub, the 'Cats return three starters from last year's squad that advanced to its fourth NCAA Regional since 2018.
Among those returning, include two-time Conference Player of the Year Alex Heffner and 2022 Rookie of the Year Will Davis.

Davidson will travel to Richmond, Va., for the VCU Shootout Sept. 18-19.
