'Cats Host Richmond in First Battle for the Mid-Atlantic LtN Cup

DAVIDSON, N.C. – The Davidson lacrosse program will host University of Richmond in its final home game of the season on Saturday afternoon, while also debuting a new tradition between the two programs: the Mid-Atlantic Lacrosse the Nations Cup.
Lacrosse the Nations (LtN) is a nonprofit organization that uses lacrosse as a platform to teach students valuable life skills and improve education and health throughout the world. Leading up to Saturday's match up, the two programs are also raising money and bringing awareness to LtN's mission before competing for the cup, which is set to become an annual event.
Richmond holds the all-time series at a 6-1 advantage over the 'Cats, winning the last two meetings 15-11. The Spiders enter Saturday's contest ranked No. 21 in national polls, while making their first trip to Davidson since 2018.
Opening draw is scheduled for 1 p.m. and will air on ESPN3 with Sam Goldfarb on the call.
