Davidson Defeats The Citadel, 4-3

CHARLESTON, S.C. -- Coming back from a 1-0 deficit, the Davidson men's tennis team defeated The Citadel 4-3 on Tuesday afternoon.
The Wildcats dropped the doubles point but won four singles matches to clinch their fifth victory of the season.
Alejandro Solares won a 6-3, 6-1 decision at court two for his eighth solo win of the year and seventh consecutive victory.
Juan Camilo Perez Gongora and Jerry Wang also earned a pair of 6-3, 6-4 victories from courts three and five, respectively, while Nico Pinzon closed out the match with a three-set bout on court four.
From No. 4, the sophomore dropped the first set 6-2, before bouncing back with a 7-6, 6-4 win in sets two and three.
