It's championship season!
Beginning Wednesday, Davidson swimmers and divers will compete at the Atlantic 10 Conference Swimming and Diving Championships at the SPIRE Institute in Geneva, Ohio.
The four-day meet will include competition in 40 events, beginning with women's one-meter diving prelims Wednesday at 1 p.m. and concluding with the fourth finals session at 6 p.m. Saturday.

STANLEY LOOKS TO FINISH STRONG
Shelby Stanley has already compiled a pool's worth of A-10 awards and medals in three seasons.
The Wildcat senior has secured the last two A-10 Most Outstanding Performer awards and captured 17 medals, including eight golds. Last year alone, Stanley won the 100 fly and 200 IM titles, while setting A-10 and school records. She also won the 200 fly — an event in which she also owns the school mark. And in 2020, she was named A-10 Most Outstanding Rookie.
Stanley enters her final league meet with the season's top time in the 100 fly (53.95) and ranks sixth and seventh, respectively, in the 200 IM and 200 fly.
Sophomore Annica Valmassei also won at A-10s last year and will be looking to follow up her gold-medal performance in 3-meter diving.
FELT RANKED AMONG A-10 LEADERS
Wildcat Dylan Felt could be poised to make a splash at A-10s.
The freshman has top-5 times in four freestyle events, including first in the 200 (1:37.38). He's also second in the 1,650, third in the 500 and fifth in the 1,000.
Felt already has his name on a school record — he set the 1,000 free mark with a time of 9:24.07 Jan. 21 at William & Mary.
Ben McClain, a sophomore, won A-10 gold in the 200 free last year and ranks fourth entering the meet.

• Men's 100 breast: Andrew Schou, 4th
• Men's 100 breast: Cael McLaren, 5th
• Women's 1,650 free: Sylvia Stewart-Bates, 5th
