Davidson Heads to Richmond for Sunday Tilt

DAVIDSON, N.C. -- With five games remaining in the regular season, the Davidson women's basketball team is headed back to Richmond to take on the Spiders on Sunday afternoon.
Tip off is scheduled for 1 p.m. from inside the Robins Center on the campus of University of Richmond.
THE SERIES
ABOUT THE SPIDERS... The Spiders are coming off a key, 67-51 A-10 victory over La Salle on Wednesday. In the contest, the Spiders shot 29-of-59 (49.2%) from the field and recorded 46 rebounds in the win. Across the league, Richmond currently ranks third in field-goal percentage defense (36.8%), second in field-goal percentage (43.7%), second in defensive rebounds per game (29.1 and fourth in three pointers per game (8.1).
AROUND THE HORN... With five games left in the regular season, and a 5-4 A-10 record, the 'Cats currently sit in fifth place behind George Washington, Fordham, UMass and top-seeded Rhode Island, respectively. Davidson has three of the top four teams left to play this season, while the Spiders sit in 10th place with a 4-5 conference ledger.
