Peake handed McGee his first loss of the season after he came into the match ranked 25th at 157 with a record of 8-0.
Nate Carr Jr.'s squad also got an added boost when senior Bryce Sanderlin made his return to the lineup. The Chesapeake, Va. native won both of his matches with a 4-2 decision at 174 over George Mason and an 11-3 major decision victory over American. The veteran middleweight went 20-8 last year and finished fourth at the SoCon Championships at 165 pounds.
