WILMINGTON, N.C. - The Davidson women's tennis team concluded its fall portion of the 2023 schedule with a strong showing at the UNC Wilmington Dual Invitational hosted by UNC Wilmington over the weekend.
"We had a lot of matches over the last three days and many of them were very competitive" said head coach Susanne Depka. "The team each day improved with their processes and had much success the last day. I was very proud of everyone this tournament. They used their tools well to help them with their nerves and stay calm under pressure. The weekend was extremely enjoyable to see their progress and was a ton of fun coaching them! It was a great conclusion to the fall season and transition into the spring."
While at the invitational, the Wildcats competed against Appalachian State, Longwood and the host UNC Wilmington.
The 'Cats finished with four players having won over half of their matches over the weekend, led by Alex Rodehorst who was undefeated over three matches and pulled out tiebreakers.
