DAVIDSON, N.C. – The Davidson College men's soccer team is slated for a meeting with Atlantic 10-leading Duquesne on Wednesday night.

About the 'Cats
Davidson is coming off their first conference loss of the season which came at the hands of Fordham last Saturday, 2-1. With the loss, the 'Cats dropped to a tie for second in the league standings and now own a 6-2-1 record.

Junior Vincent Bennage continues to lead the way for the Wildcat offense following another solid week. The Kenosha, Wisconsin native recorded two goals and two assists for a six-point stretch which included a score and two assists in a mid-week win over Furman and Davidson's lone goal in the loss at Fordham. He now is tied for third in the A-10 with 13 total points.

On the defensive end, the Wildcats have surrendered three goals in their last two games after allowing just two in their first seven games. Davidson has been outshot 31-21 in the last two contests and have only taken a total of seven corners in those matches. The 'Cats averaged seven corners per game prior to last week. Despite this, Davidson still has allowed the fewest goals in the A-10 with six and still lead the league in save percentage at 82.9%.

One other thing to note for Wednesday's matchup, the Wildcats will be without midfielder Alonzo Clarke who received two yellow cards at Fordham. Clarke is second on the team in goals and points with three and eight respectively.

About the Dukes
Duquesne enters Wednesday tied atop the A-10 standings with Saint Louis and VCU. The Dukes own a 5-2-2 overall mark with a 2-0-1 conference record and have scored 15 goals on the season while surrendering 11.

Duquesne has been powered by the duo of midfielder Ask Ekeland and forward Jayden Da so far this season. The two have combined for 11 of the Duke's 15 goals and both rank in the top-10 in the conference in several offensive categories. Da is tied for the league lead in game-winning goals with three while Ekeland has two. They both have 13 points on the year, which is tied for third most, and Ekeland's six goals is third-most in the conference.

In goal for the Dukes, Zoltan Nagy has started all nine games while collecting 44 saves (second most in the conference), a pair of shutouts, and has allowed 11 goals. He also sports an 80% save percentage which is tied for third best in the Atlantic 10.
