DAVIDSON, N.C. – The Davidson College men's soccer team will host their final regular season game Saturday when Rhode Island visits Alumni Stadium. The team will also celebrate Senior Day ahead of the 1:00 p.m. kick off.

Last Time Out
The Wildcats will look to bounce back after suffering just their third loss of the season last week after a 3-1 defeat at UMass. The Minutemen scored three unanswered goals to defeat Davidson as it was the most goals allowed by the Wildcats since allowing three goals against Saint Joseph's last year on October 1.

'Cats in the Conference Standings
Entering the final weekend of the regular season, the Wildcats cling to the top spot in the standings by one point setting up a scenario where the team controls their own destiny. If the 'Cats win on Saturday, they will secure the No. 1 seed in the conference tournament and would host the first round and beyond if applicable. If Davidson draws or losses, they will await the results from Saturday's full slate of games and see where they land.

Saint Louis and VCU trail Davidson by one point heading into Saturday as SLU faces Saint Joseph's at 7:00 p.m. and VCU takes on St. Bonaventure at 7:00 p.m. as well. Fourth-place UMass plays at Dayton at 7:00 p.m. with 13 conference points.

Among the Nation's Best
Despite surrendering three goals in their last game, Davidson still ranks inside the Top-25 in the country in four team statistical categories. The 'Cats are tied for 5th in the nation in shutout percentage, with shutouts in 53.8% of their games, and they rank 12th in save percentage having stopped 81.5% of shots sent on frame.

Davidson also ranks 20th in team goals against average (0.769) and 23rd in win-loss-tie percentage (0.731).

A-10's Finest
Three Wildcats are among the league's leaders in numerous categories. Forward Denis Krioutchenkov ranks second in the A-10 in shots on goal (22), tied for third in goals (7), game-winning goals (3), as well as fifth in total shots (46) and points (16). His offensive counterpart, Vincent Bennage ranks tied for third in assists (5), and is tied for fourth in goals (6) and points (17). Goalkeeper Lou Liedtka ranks atop the league in shutouts (7) and shutouts per game (53.8%). He also is second in goals allowed (10) and save percentage (80.8%).

About the Rams
The Rams come into Alumni Stadium with the most shutouts in the Atlantic 10 with eight and are 2-1-2 coming into Saturday. Rhode Island's last win though came on October 10th against UM Fort Kent, and they are 0-1-2 in their last three games.

Offensively, the Rams are led by Brandon Bermingham who has five goals, two game-winners and 10 total points. Four other players have scored twice for URI.

In goal, Edu Rodriguez has played over 1,100 minutes while recording six shutouts with 40 saves and a 1.69 goals against average.
