DAVIDSON, N.C. – The Davidson men's soccer returns to the pitch on Saturday afternoon when they host the Saint Joseph's Hawks at 1:00 p.m. inside Alumni Stadium.
Last Time Out
The 'Cats are coming off a 2-0 week where they defeated Duquesne and VCU. Denis Krioutchenkov notched two goals including the game-winning penalty kick over VCU and a 17th minute laser against Duquesne. Luke Bryant scored the game-winner against the Dukes. Vincent Bennage notched two assists while Eamon Moylan and Nico Quanbeck were also credited for assists.
'Cats in the Conference Standings
Davidson enters the weekend in second place in the Atlantic 10 standings behind Saint Louis. The Wildcats have accumulated 12 conference points, their most ever in the five years of the conference point system, and they sit just one point behind the Billikens.
Among the Nation's Best
The Wildcats rank inside the top-25 across Division I in six different team categories. Davidson ranks tied for 6th in the country in total goals allowed. Their seven scores surrendered is tied for the fourth fewest in the country.
Mike Babst's squad also ranks tied for 7th in team shutout percentage after they have recorded a shutout in six of their 11 games this season (54.5%).
The 'Cats sit 8th in team save percentage having stopped 83.7% of shots sent their way, rank tied for 10th in team goals against average (0.636) and have the 14th-best win-loss-tied percentage in the country.
Davidson also leads the conference in goals allowed, save percentage, and are tied with Rhode Island for the most shutouts with six.

Saint Joseph's enters Saturday's contest with a 3-9-1 overall record and are 1-3-1 in A-10 play. The Hawks have dropped their last four contests and last won on September 23rd against Dayton, 1-0. In their most recent outing, St. Joseph's fell to UMass in a 2-1 contest.
