DAVIDSON, N.C. - Davidson women's tennis recorded their fourth undefeated weekend after sweeping George Mason 7-0 on Sunday morning in Fairfax, Va. The 'Cats now sit at 11-6 overall and 4-1 in conference play.
"We took what we did yesterday and brought it into today," head coach Susanne Depka said. "Even with a bit of adversity we stayed mentally tough and persevered. I'm proud of each of these young women for believing and trusting that the process would lead them to the outcome they deserved. They earned every bit of their success this weekend."
The duos of Elizabeth Truluck and Mira Gladstone along with Linden Patterson and Daniela Porges secured the doubles point for the 'Cats with 6-3 and 6-2 wins, respectively. Davidson went on to sweep the singles matches with wins from Josie Schaffer, Truluck, Emma Heiderscheit, Franny Shea, Gladstone and Porges to secure the shutout of the Patriots.
