Wildcats Win Fourth Straight, Take Down Presby 6-1

DAVIDSON, N.C. – Davidson women's tennis won their fourth straight match on Saturday, taking down Presbyterian College, 6-1, in Clinton, S.C.
"Today was a good battle," head coach Susanne Depka said. "We did some really great things today and persevered! Each match we get tougher mentally. We look forward to continuing with what we are working towards tomorrow against Radford."
The Wildcats took the doubles point after the pairings of Josie Schaffer and Kavya Patel and Elizabeth Truluck and Mira Gladstone defeated their opponents.
Schaffer went on to defeat her opponent in two sets, just as Emma Heiderscheit, Franny Shea and Kavya Patel did as well. Mira Gladstone defeated her opponent in three sets, 4-6, 6-4, 10-7.
UP NEXT
The Cats will complete their weekend on the road at Radford tomorrow with a 1 pm matchup.
