'Cats Add Three More Water Wins Saturday at Bucknell

LEWISBURG, Pa. — Davidson Wildcats added three more event wins to the total on Saturday during the second day of competition at the Bucknell Invitational.
One win came from senior Shelby Stanley, while freshmen Dylan Felt and James Gourlay continued their strong weekends with wins for a second straight day.
Stanley led the Davidson women with a win the 100 fly, touching the wall in 53.95. Gourlay won 1-meter diving with 273.55 points, and Felt swam first in the 200 free (1:37.38).
The Davidson women added a fourth-place finish in the 200 medley relay, as Leah Sandock, Abby Francis, Shelby Stanley and Martha Tripsa posted a time of 1:42.64. Chale Jacks was fifth in the 100 fly (56.19), Francis was eighth in the 100 breast (1:05.27) and Francis, Kate Pottle, Marissa Lassell and Stanley were sixth in the 800 free relay (7:43.42).
The Wildcat men had multiple third-place finishes, including Andrew Schou in the 100 breast (55.79), Ben McClain in the 200 free (1:39.95) and the 800 free relay team of McClain, Felt, Fletcher Smith and Jeremy Kemp (6:43.59). Liam McDonough swam fourth in the 100 back (50.01).
Ben Cutforth (5th, 249.05) and Drew Sheldon (8th, 227.75) also had top-eight finishes in diving.
Ryan Shute added a seventh-place finish in the 400 IM (4:07.52), while Miles Charles took eighth in the 100 fly (49.80) and Kemp was eighth in the 100 back and 200 free with times of 51.29 and 1:42.75, respectively.
Through two days, the Davidson men are third in the standings with 638.50 points, while the women are fifth (602.50).

The third and final day of competition begins Sunday at 10 a.m., with finals set for 5 p.m.
