DAVIDSON, N.C. – Unbeaten in four straight on 1992 Team Field, Davidson will continue its season-long three-game homestand Saturday evening when VCU comes to town for a 7 p.m. contest.
The Wildcats enter 4-6-2 overall and 1-2-1 in Atlantic 10 play following a 2-2 draw with Fordham Wednesday.
Davidson, which was 0-4-0 against the Rams since joining the league in 2014, got goals from freshman Alonzo Clarke and sophomore Vincent Bennage.
Two-time A-10 Rookie of the Week Denis Krioutchenkov continues to lead the Wildcats and league in goals with seven.
Dating back to its shutout at Radford, Davidson is averaging 2.6 goals per contest.
VCU, which played one of the nation's toughest non-conference schedules, comes in 0-5-5 and 0-0-3.
