Women's Cross Country Tackles 6k at NCAA Southeast Regionals

ANCHORAGE, Ky. - Junior Kelsey Troutman paced the Wildcats at the NCAA Southeast Regional crossing the finish line first for Davidson. The meet osted by the University of Kentucky at the E.P. "Tom" Sawyer Park on Saturday. 
 
After moving up five spots in the race, Troutman crossed the finish line 23:17.8, 155th place.
 
Davidson registered 788 points to place 29th out of 31 teams. NC State won the regional title with 34 points, followed by North Carolina with 73 points. Host institution Kentucky took third place with 103 points while Furman (126) and Liberty (160) rounded out the top five.
Next to finish the 6k course was Natalie Abernathy in 23:24.6. She was followed by Frances Whitworth (23:28.8), Anna Kathryn Kilby (23:33.1) and Abigail Nasse (23:33.8).
