Cross Country Heads to NCAA Southeast Regional

DAVIDSON, N.C. - The Davidson Men's and Women's Cross Country teams will compete at the NCAA Southeast Regional at E.P. "Tom" Sawyer Park in Anchorage, Ky. on Friday morning. The meet is hosted by the University of Kentucky.
The women kick things off with a 6k in a field of 31 teams starting at 11 am ET and the men follow with their 10k in a field of 33 teams at noon ET.
Running for Davidson on the women's team are Natalie Abernathy, Anna Kathryn Kilby, Alexis McDonnell, Abigail Nasse, Kelsey Troutman, Frances Whitworth. For the men, it's Joe dos Reis, Owen Drometer, Ben Gordon Sniffen, Henry Griffith, Jay Shanahan and Charlie Siebert.

LAST TIME OUT
At the Atlantic 10 Championships, Davidson men's cross country took sixth place, paced by Owen Drometer's Top-15 finish. His performance landed him on the Atlantic 10 All-Conference First Team for the second year in a row. The women's cross country finished eighth and posted 212 points. First across the finish line was junior Kelsey Troutman who finished in 32nd, stopping the clock at 18:55.0.
