Wildcats to Meet Old Dominion Friday in Cannon Pool

Two weeks after their first test of the season, Davidson's swimmers and divers will be back in competition Friday when they host Old Dominion in Cannon Pool.
Diving will begin at 4 p.m., with swimming commencing at 5 p.m.
It's the second of three home meets the Wildcats will host this year, following the Sept. 30 season opener against Queens.
Davidson will also welcome William & Mary to campus on Saturday, Jan. 22.
Last time out
The Wildcats had a number of notable performances against Queens, which has won the last six men's and women's Division II national championships.
The Davidson women won eight events and earned a team win by a 157-137 margin, led by its trio of 2021 A-10 champions. Shelby Stanley, the reigning Atlantic 10 Most Outstanding Performer, swept the butterfly events, taking the 100 and 200 in 56.57 and 2:06.94, respectively. Siena Senn won the 500 free in 5:04.08 and Abby Francis took the 50 free in 24.22.
