DAVIDSON, N.C. -- Looking to continue on their four-game win streak, the Davidson College women's basketball team will play host to George Washington and George Mason this weekend, beginning with a New Year's Day tip off against the Colonials at 6 p.m.

LAST TIME OUT... The 'Cats won their fourth straight game on Dec. 21, after travelling to the Bronx to face the Fordham Rams. Rosie Deegan had a big outing in just her second appearance this season, recording 23 points in just 20 minutes of work. The sophomore was named the Atlantic 10's Player of the Week on Dec. 28, making the honor her eighth weekly recognition from the conference in her career, but first Player of the Week nod.

ABOUT THE COLONIALS... George Washington is 3-3 through their non-conference schedule and will open up A-10 play with the Wildcats. Colonial freshman Aurea Gingras was named A-10 Rookie of the Week on Dec. 21, setting career-highs in points (12), rebounds (7) and assists (4) in a win over Delaware University, and dished the assist on her team's game-winning basket in the win. As a team, GW averages 58.0 points per game and is shooting 15.9 percent from three-point range.

THE SERIES...  Monday's match up will be the sixth meeting between the Colonials and the 'Cats since Davidson joined the Atlantic 10 in 2014-15. George Washington holds the all-time series at a 4-2 clip, although Davidson has won the last two meetings against GW, holding the Colonials to an average of just 48.5 points per game.

SCOUTING THE PATRIOTS... George Mason is 3-4 heading into this weekend, and will begin A-10 play at Fordham on Friday before coming to Davidson on Sunday. With a balanced offense, the Patriots have four scorers averaging 8 or more points per game, led by senior Marika Korpinen who averages 11.4 points and 6.6 rebounds per game.

1 FOR 100... Last week against Fordham marked Katie Turner's 100th career game and start for the Wildcats. In that time, the Nevada native has recorded 208 three-pointers, 401 assists and 1,110 points. She is 14th in program history in all-time scoring, and third in career assists and three's.

In that span, she has a .490 winning percentage. In the midst of a four-game win streak, Davidson has averaged 75.25 points per game through that stretch, while going undefeated in the month of December.
