Wildcats Take Season-High Winning Streak to Richmond Sunday

DAVIDSON, N.C. — After enjoying an eight-day break, the Davidson women's basketball team will be back in action this Sunday when they travel to Richmond for an Atlantic 10 matchup on the hardwood inside Robins Center.
The Wildcats (12-6, 5-0 A-10) are riding a season-best five-game winning streak, all against A-10 foes, and currently sit in a tie for second place in the league standings with VCU and just behind Dayton, which is 6-0.
Richmond snapped a four-game skid Thursday morning at La Salle, pulling out a 63-61 decision to move to 8-11 overall and 1-4 in A-10 play.

•Clinging to a three-point lead (52-49) at the 3:25 mark in the final quarter after the Colonials used a 13-2 run to erase a 14-point deficit, Turner stepped up for the 'Cats. She drilled back-to-back treys at the 3:08 and 1:22 marks, helping push the lead out to 58-49.
•Turner had 14 points (11 in the second half), followed by Suzi-Rose Deegan with 13, Adelaide Fuller and Chloe Welch with 10 and 11 points, respectively.
