DAVIDSON, N.C. — Davidson women's basketball head coach Gayle Coats Fulks announced today the addition of Suzi-Rose Deegan to her second recruiting class, as Deegan signed a national letter of intent for the 2019-20 campaign.
Deegan joins fellow classmates Peyton Carter, Adelaide Fuller and Cameron Tabor as part of the 2023 class (click here to read about the other three incoming freshmen).
"We are thrilled to be adding Suzi-Rose to our 2019 recruiting class," said Coats Fulks. "She is a fierce competitor that loves to play and will bring athleticism and physicality to our guard group. She also compliments Peyton, Adelaide, and Cameron with her versatility and high-motor."

Coach Gayle's Scouting Report: "Suzi-Rose is an explosive scorer and fierce competitor. A creative and physical finisher at the rim as well as in the mid-range, she has the ability to hit tough shots from all over the court. Outside of her scoring abilities, she will make a big impact on our team as a fearless rebounder and on the defensive end. Her experience playing in the 3v3 Youth Olympic Games as a member of the Perth Lynx and Perth Redbacks, as well as her exposure to high performance as a scholarship holder at the Center of Excellence, has prepared her incredibly well for the college game."
Why I chose Davidson: "I chose Davidson because it offered a unique blend of NCAA division 1 sport and amazing academic opportunities. When I visited I was immediately impressed by the sense of community that existed both within the playing group and the college in general. I am really looking forward to developing my game under the expert tutelage of coach Gayle and her staff. I believe that Davidson is on the cusp of something very special and I'm looking forward to being a part of the Wildcats' exciting future."
