DAVIDSON, N.C. — Coming off its first Atlantic 10 Women's Basketball Championship win Tuesday in the first round, Davidson will next face fourth-seeded Dayton Friday afternoon at 2 p.m. inside A.J. Palumbo Center on the campus of Duquesne University.
The Wildcats (17-13, 10-6 A-10), who earned the fifth seed, cruised to a 74-49 home win vs. 12th-seeded St. Bonaventure Tuesday and are seeking to avenge a defeat during the regular season against Dayton.
The Flyers (16-12, 10-6 A-10) are coming off a 65-38 win at home vs. La Salle Tuesday in their first round game. They have won their last two contests.

Katie Turner joined Lyon on the league's All-Third Team.

•Justine Lyon became the 20th player in program history to reach 1,000 points last year and currently sits in 5th place all-time with 1,412. The senior also ranks in several other top-15 categories including: field goals/free throws made (9th, 515/5th, 289) and three-pointers (14th, 93).
