DAVIDSON, N.C.  — 
Davidson stayed perfect in its Atlantic 10 men's tennis matches after scoring a 4-0 win over visiting George Mason Sunday morning on the Davidson Tennis Courts.
 
The Wildcats moved to 11-4 on the season and 4-0 in league matches, while sending the Patriots to 5-8 overall and 0-1 in the A-10. It was the sixth shutout win of the season for the 'Cats, who improved to 6-3 at home.
 
Helping win the doubles point for Davidson was Axel Fries and Matthew Rose at No. 1 with a 7-3 tie-breaker win, and then the duo of Alexander Loope and Yash Parikh rolled to their fourth consecutive win together with a 6-0 victory at No. 3.
 
Claiming singles wins were Parikh, Sam Kavarana and Brooks Green to seal up the team win. Parikh nailed down a 6-4, 6-2 decision at No. 2 to run his record to 9-4 on the season.
 
The freshmen duo of Kavarana and Green had impressive wins at No. 3 and 6 positions, respectively. Kavarana blanked his opponent, 6-0, 6-0, to remain perfect in A-10 matches (3-0) and moved to 9-3 overall. Green secured a strong 6-1, 6-2 victory at No. 6 to claim his team-leading 10th win of the season and fourth overall in league matches.
 
The wins helped Davidson run its team record together in singles play to 52-26 and a stellar 15-2 in A-10 matches.
 
Davidson next hits the road for matches March 23 and 24 at Richmond and at Radford. Match times are 11:30 a.m. and 1 p.m.
