WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. –The Davidson women's track and field team opened a busy weekend of action at the JDL College Team Challenge Thursday night at JDL Fast Track.
Wildcat freshman Eli Minsky placed third in the 800-meters, stopping the clock in 1:59.94, while sophomore Iain Anderson was eighth (2:02.08).
Davidson sophomore Nick Peeples took eighth in the 200-meter dash with a time of 23.41 seconds and raced down the stretch of the 60m in 7.33 seconds.
On the jumps side, sophomore Philip Maclemore tied his person best in the high jump, clearing 1.85-meters (6'0.75). Freshman Paul Mullinax marked a weight throw of 12.96-meters (42'6.25).
Davidson returns to the track Saturday, Feb. 9 at the BU David Hemery Valentine Invitational in Boston.
