CHARLOTTE, N.C. – Davidson senior Caroline Yarbrough placed fourth overall at the Charlotte Opener as the Wildcats opened their 2018 campaign at Frank Liske Park.
Yarbrough stopped the clock in 18:34.6 over the 5k course behind a trio of runners from West Virginia. Wrapping up the Wildcat scoring was junior Susannah Cate, freshman Anna Katharine Kilby, senior Sophia Mills and newcomer Rachel Shapiro.
Davidson returns to the start line Saturday, Sep. 15 at the Winthrop/ADIDAS Invitational in Rock Hill, S.C. The course is a preview of the NCAA Southeast Regional in November.
