Swimming Earns CSCAA Academic Plaudits; League and Resweber Honored

NORFOLK, Va. – Both the Davidson men's and women's swimming and diving teams received College Swimming and Diving Coaches Association of America (CSCAA) Scholar All-America team recognition, while individually, veterans Riley League and Clay Resweber garnered CSCAA Scholar All-America team honorable mention accolades.
For the second consecutive year, the men's program boasted the sixth-highest grade point average in Division I. For Resweber, it marks the second straight season as a CSCAA Scholar All-America honorable mention, while it is the first nod for League.
League and Resweber, along with sophomore teammate Crossan Cooper, landed on the A-10 All-Academic team, while League also earned Google Cloud Academic All-American honors, a program first.
The women's team helped make the A-10 one of eight leagues in the entire country with all member teams making the grade – to be recognized a program's GPA must exceed 3.0.
The Davidson swimming and diving teams begin the 2018-19 season in September.
