DAVIDSON, N.C. – Davidson returns home for a match with Atlantic 10 Conference leader VCU at Belk Arena Saturday at 6 p.m.
Crosley leads the league
• Davidson's Ellie Crosley leads the A-10 with a .424 hitting percentage. The sophomore middle hitter from Austin, Texas has had six matches with a hitting percentage of .500 or better, including a high of .647 (12-of-17) vs. Mississippi State Sept. 1. Her other top performances came against William & Mary (.636), Marist (.615), Charlotte (.565), Duquesne (.545) and Central Arkansas (.538).
• Wildcat junior Josie Treadwell ranks third in the A-10 with 4.47 digs per set. The defensive specialist from Los Angeles has had double-digit digs in 12 of 14 matches this year, with a high of 23 against La Salle Sept. 23.
Scouting the Rams
• VCU is alone atop the A-10 standings with a 4-0 league record.
The Rams have won five straight matches, including 3-1 over Dayton Sept. 30. In that one, VCU rallied from a first set loss to win the next three.
• The Rams feature one of the top players in the A-10 in junior middle blocker Jasmin Sneed, who leads the conference with 1.58 blocks per set. She is second in hitting percentage (.360).

VCU leads the all-time series 15-1, which includes 3-0 and 3-1 wins by the Rams last year.
