Field Hockey Hosts No. 12 Saint Joseph's Tuesday

DAVIDSON, N.C. – In a game postponed more than a month, the Davidson field hockey team hosts No. 12 Saint Joseph's Tuesday at 4:30 p.m. at Belk Turf Field.
ABOUT THE SERIES
Davidson is seeking its first win against the Hawks. Saint Joseph's holds a 4-0 series lead, with all the meetings coming in Atlantic 10 Conference play. The match was originally set for Sept. 14 but was postponed by Hurricane Florence.
SCOUTING THE HAWKS
A-10 leader Saint Joseph's comes to Davidson having won its last eight games. The Hawks feature the league's top scoring duo in New Zealand-born freshman Tonya Botherway and senior Anna Willocks, who have combined to score 28 goals. Botherway ranks second individually with 16 goals, while Willocks, with 12 goals, has earned the last two A-10 Player of the Week honors. Junior Pepa Serrano is tied for the league lead with 10 assists, and junior goalkeeper Victoria Kammerinke has allowed a league-low 15 goals at a 1.07 goals against average.
LAST TIME OUT
Davidson defeated Central Michigan 2-1 at home Sunday in non-conference play as senior Kristin Kisa scored her team-leading sixth goal in the ninth minute to set the tone. Junior goalkeeper Sarah Zeszotarski exited the game with a 2-0 lead after 58 minutes and now leads the A-10 with a .775 saves percentage.

Davidson will play its next two matches on the road. The Wildcats are at Richmond Friday and at La Salle Sunday.
