DAVIDSON, N.C. – Wake Forest's Hannah Betfort scored a pair of goals in the first half and the Demon Deacons controlled possession the majority of the game in sending Davidson to a 4-0 home defeat Sunday afternoon at Alumni Stadium in women's soccer.
Davidson fell to 1-1 on its opening weekend, while Wake Forest moved to 2-0 after it downed Georgia on the road Friday night 1-0 to start the year.

•The matchup with Wake Forest was the 14th meeting between both schools, as the Demon Deacons now own a 13-1 lead in the series that dates back to 1994.
