
Women Keep PR-Streak Alive with a Pair of New Bests

HIGH POINT, N.C. – The Davidson women's track and field team kept the personal best streak alive with a pair of new records Saturday at the VertKlasse Meeting at Dick Vert Stadium.
Wildcat junior Sarah Sears and sophomore Tori Long snapped their own best times in the 800-meter and 200-meter runs, respectively. Sears finished second overall, stopping the clock in 2:13.76, breaking her freshman mark (2:15.73) by nearly two seconds. Long crossed the line in 26.35 seconds.
Senior Hannah Rieden placed 10th overall in the 800m with a time of 2:16.29., while freshman Katie Hines went 25.90 seconds in her first collegiate outdoor 200m.
Davidson returns to the start line Saturday, April 8 at the George Mason Invitational.
