WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. - Davidson men's track and field opened day one of the Camel City Classic Friday afternoon at JDL Fast Track.
Senior Will Brewster took third in the mile run with, crossing the line in 4:14.78. Junior Ramsay Ritchie returned to form with a 4:15.83 result, good for sixth place overall.
Davidson Junior Jacob Hostetler won his heat of the 400-meters and finished sixth overall with a time of 49.85 seconds. Senior Ben Corson broke 2:00 in the 800-meters, crossing the line in 1:57.48.
Wildcat sophomore Dylan Carmack ended the day with a 12th place finish in the 3k (8:40.48).
The Wildcats return to JDL Fast Track Saturday, Feb. 4 for the conclusion of the Camel City Classic.
